From Operations to Marketing and everything in between, the leaders behind Quaker Steak & Lube® work together with our franchisees, applying their over 200 years of combined restaurant and foodservice expertise to make the restaurant a success today.
Now let’s get into the specifics of our franchise development team:
Bruce Lane Vice President, Operations & Franchise Services
Mr. Lane joined Quaker Steak & Lube® in June of 2017 as VP of Franchise Services. For the last seven years, he worked with both Franchise Development and Operations for Fuddruckers. Prior to that, Bruce served in an operational leadership role for 7-Eleven and leading up to that he was a Multi-Unit franchisee with Waffle House, Inc. Mr. Lane’s primary focus is putting our Franchisees first, by providing expert guidance and knowledge towards productivity and profitability alike.
Lance Matthews Corporate Chef
With over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Chef Matthews joined TA as Corporate Chef of Quaker Steak & Lube® in April 2016. His extensive resume boasts experience as a global sous chef, senior food buyer and restaurant manager, among others. Chef Matthews has worked at notable properties including Hotel Del Coronado, Sheraton Torrey Pines and Pechanga Resort and Casino. He also proudly served in the U.S. Navy after finishing culinary school and resumed his career upon his return.
Shannon Salupo Corporate Beverage Manager
With more than 20 years of experience in food and beverage vendor relations, cost containment, training and marketing, Ms. Salupo joined the Quaker Steak & Lube® team in May 2016. Her experience at Caesars Entertainment’s Horseshoe Cleveland, Hard Rock Café, The Darden Restaurant Group and local Cleveland restaurant Westpark Station has provided her a full 360-degree view of food and beverage management through the lens of manager, buyer, bartender and guest. Ms. Salupo also serves on the board of Cheers Magazine.
